Next Sunday, March 16th (3pm), I’m finally bringing Yu&I Duo to Los Angeles. Yu&I was formed in 2013 when guitarist Ines and I moved to Los Angeles and found each other in a beautiful Victorian greenhouse near USC. (We both left home and came to LA to study and coincidentally ended up in the same house!) Since then, we’ve been performing all over the world!
We are so happy to be back after 5 years at the Nichols Canyon Music Series, located in the Hollywood Hills. It’s my dear friend Peter Hastings’s house, which regularly hosts amazing concerts. There will be snacks, wine, and a bunch of cool people!
The program will include Piazzolla’s tango, some movie music from Schindler’s List and Cinema Paradiso, as well as Chopin’s Nocturns!
