The Seoul National University Alumni Association in the USA provides scholarships to exceptional college students who have the potential to make a positive impact in their field and the world. The SNUAA Undergraduate Scholarships selection process is holistic, considering a range of factors, including academic ability, creativity, integrity, leadership, entrepreneurship, and potential contribution to the profession and society.

The scholarship recipients will join the SNUAA Scholars Program as SNUAA Scholars and receive support and counseling to become future leaders in various segments of society.

At least five (5) awards of $10,000 each are available for 2024.

Eligibility

1. Students enrolled in a 4-year college as of May 1, 2024 (inclusive of graduating seniors).
2. U.S. or Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Korean ethnicity.
3. Previous awardees are ineligible.

Application Period

April 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024.

Application Procedure

Fill out:

• SNUAA Scholarship Application

Submit online the following:

• Resume – GPA, a list of awards, a list of extracurricular activities, job experience, community service activities, and other noteworthy accomplishments
• Transcripts for all college coursework – for first-year students, including high school grades
• An 800-word essay on your future goal

Ask two references to submit their recommendation letters on Reference Letter Submission.

• Two recommendation letters that speak to your academic achievements, leadership, and experience.

Notification

The winners will be notified by email by August 31, 2024.
