This talk presents the Vilacesti Project that develops and operates a Smart Industrial Park on a 1280-acre land in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana through Collaboration among Ghana, USA, and Korea. The Project aims to promote socio-economic development in Ghana, West Africa, and then Africa by (1) Creating high quality jobs, (2) Improving technical competency and transforming workers to suit the needs of domestic and foreign companies, (3) Increasing research and development opportunities, and (4) fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
