One of our valued supporting organizations, the Seoul National University Alumni Association (SNUAA) – Southern California Chapter, is hosting an exciting Summer Camp for elementary school students. We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word to families with children who may be interested in participating. 2026 Robotics Summer Camp

Dear Friends,

As part of our ongoing commitment to serving the local community, the Seoul National University Alumni Association of Southern California (SNUAA SoCal) is pleased to offer a one-week Robotics Day Camp during the summer of 2026. This program is designed to inspire elementary school students—the innovators and leaders of tomorrow—by introducing them to the exciting world of robotics through hands-on learning.

We invite you to share this opportunity with your children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, and anyone else who may have elementary school-aged students interested in participating.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Hongtaek Han for his leadership in planning this program, as well as to the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) and the College of Engineering Alumni Association for their generous volunteer support.

Camp Information

Dates: Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

Eligibility: Children ages 8–12 with little or no prior robotics experience

Enrollment: Limited to the first 16 registrants

Registration Fee: $250 per student

Required Equipment: Each participant must bring a personal laptop.

Robotics Kit: An educational robotics kit will be provided on loan at no additional cost for use during the camp.

Lunch: Pizza will be provided (participants may also bring their own lunch). Water and other basic beverages will be available.

안녕하십니까?

지역 사회와 늘 함께 호흡하고자 노력하는 저희 서울대 남가주 총동창회에서는 이번 2026년 여름방학을 맞아, 미래의 주역이 될 지역사회 초등학교 어린이들에게 꿈과 희망을 전하기 위해 일주일간 진행되는 ‘로봇 데이 캠프’를 준비했습니다.

이 캠프에 참가할 학생들을 아래와 같이 모집하오니 회원님의 자녀나 주변의 친지 중에 관심있는 학생이 있으면 적극적으로 알리고 권유해 주시기 바랍니다.

특별히 기획을 도와주신 한홍택 박사님과 한미 과학자 협회, 그리고 자원봉사 후원을 도와주실 공대 동창회에 감사를 드립니다.
