Sejong Book Club Launch
Introducing Korean Literature in Translation
With the Essay Category of the Sejong Writing Competition closing in 2026, this new series will carry on our mission of introducing Korean literature to English-speaking audiences. The Sejong Book Club is a Zoom-based discussion series featuring fiction by Korean authors in English translation. Each session brings readers together for engaging conversations led by professors and guest moderators, offering fresh insights into Korean literature and culture.
First Meeting
Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 7pm CST (8pm EST)

What to Expect
- A lively 40–50-minute online discussion, conducted over Zoom
- Explore English-translated Korean literature
- Guided reading notes and discussion points

This book club is free for all participants and open to all regardless or age or nationality.
