👤 About the Speaker

Dr. Chueng-Ryong Ji is a renowned theoretical physicist and a Fellow of the American Physical Society, recognized for his pioneering work in nuclear and particle physics. He has served as a Professor of Physics at North Carolina State University since 1987, leading an internationally respected research program.

His recent book, Relativistic Quantum Invariance (Springer Nature, 2024), introduces groundbreaking ideas in light-front dynamics. Dr. Ji also served as the 38th President of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) and led the editorial effort for the historical publication KSEA 50 Years.

His contributions span research, education, and community service — including founding leadership of the National High School Physics Contest (NHSPC) and receiving the KSEA Outstanding Contribution Award in 2022. He earned his B.S. from Seoul National University and M.S./Ph.D. from KAIST.
