On October 14, 2025, Ms. Taeyoon Park, CEO and co-founder of APGREEN Inc., will present her Korea-based startup specializing in sustainable, onsite clean-hydrogen generation systems. Founded in 2022, APGREEN has developed an innovative non-thermal plasma-based modular hydrogen system that converts hydrocarbons into clean hydrogen and solid carbon material—delivering both hydrogen production and carbon capture. Unlike conventional methods, APGREEN’s technology does not require water, making it particularly well-suited for deployment in water-scarce regions.
APGREEN’s system is designed for flexible, onsite deployment in facilities such as hospitals that require reliable, on-demand electricity generation. Ms. Park earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Science in Engineering, Technology Management, Economics, and Policy from Seoul National University in 2025.
